PCT Medical Terminology Field Trip
Earlier in January, our PCT Medical Terminology Dual Enrollment students took a field trip to Penn College’s Nursing and Health Sciences building to explore exciting career paths in healthcare! They toured state-of-the-art facilities, interacted with high-tech simulation equipment, and learned about the real-world challenges healthcare workers face. Penn College also showed how they’re helping students achieve their career goals—empowering the next generation of healthcare leaders to make a lasting impact in their communities!

Chemistry Students Have One SWEET Lesson
Today, students in Mr. Crawford’s Chemistry classes learned the science behind ice cream—literally! They explored phase changes, discovering how adding rock salt to ice lowers the freezing point of water by interfering with the intermolecular forces in water, causing an endothermic reaction and helping them make delicious homemade ice cream. Who knew chemistry could be so sweet?
