Broadcasting Team Leaders Influence Future Goals
Thank you to all our Broadcasting staff members but a special congratulations to the following students for their vision in program development, real-world applications, and trend analysis. Caleb Parkyn, Cali Barnes, Dylan Hill, and Jace Hanford, in separate areas of interest and expertise, have dedicated themselves to growing/initiating new course content. Their work in the areas of video effects editing, positive social media influencing, music production, and strategic communications have been key factors in this year’s success and goal setting for the future. While they may not always be visible on camera, they are a huge part of our program’s vision and growth.

High School Concert Band Rated Excellent/Advanced
Congratulations to the Senior High Concert Band on their fantastic performance at Lewisburg High School last week. The concert band participated in a music performance assessment where they were evaluated in 5 different areas which are compiled into one final rating. The Montgomery Senior High Concert Band received a rating of Excellent/Advanced, which is the second highest rating awarded to high school bands. This was the first time in our school’s history where the concert band participated in a music performance assessment, and Mr. Fox is incredibly proud of their hard work and dedication to all of our performing arts programs.

The Montgomery FFA officers, along with advisor, Mr. Ulrich, attended the FFA State Legislative Leadership Conference in Harrisburg over the past few days. The students participated in various workshops to learn about current issues in agriculture. They also attended a meeting with state legislators to discuss these issues and took a tour of the capitol building.
