Boys' Soccer - Dylan Hill
Dylan is a selfless player willing to play any position necessary to give the Red Raiders the best chance of victory. He scored Montgomery's first goal if the season vs NEB Saturday and can be counted on to lock down fast offensive threats with his speed and knowledge of the game. Look for #14 to be circled in the lineup by the coaching staff because you have to go through him as around him is no longer an option.
Well done Dylan and keep up the high level of play!

Girls' Tennis - Lanie Solano
Lanie has worked hard over the last few months to get herself to varsity in her first year of playing tennis. She has a good attitude and works well with her team members. The tennis team's coaches are very proud of her accomplishments.

It is our privilege to announce the fall sports week 2 Athlete of the Week as McKenna Hakes from the girls' soccer team! The girls' soccer team is off to a great start sitting at 4-2 on the season including a big win against Jersey Shore. McKenna scored two goals in that game to help earn the victory. The Jersey Shore defense was swarming McKenna with a lot of pressure, and she did an excellent job keeping her composure, and putting two in the back of the net!
Congratulations McKenna!

Varsity Football - The Offensive Line!
The varsity football coaching staff would like to recognize the offensive line for their strong performance against Hughesville last week! The line is made up of Caleb Parkyn, Layne Gingery, Connor Jarrett, Braiden Winter, Landyn Rine and Ethan Hugar! They dominated the second half and paved the way for almost 250 yards!

Boys Soccer - Jackson Wilver
The boys' soccer team would like to recognize Jackson Wilver. Jackson has stepped up his level of play greatly as a freshman starting in both preseason matches as a forward. He uses his speed and knowledge of the game to create issues for defensive backs. The coaching staff often forgets he is only in his freshman season. We look forward to his contributions to the offense this weekend in our home opener vs Northeast Bradford.
Great work Jackson!

Cheer - Carly Kepner
The cheerleaders would like to nominate Carly Kepner. Carly joined us during pre-season and has been working extremely hard learning cheers, band dances, and new stunt positions all while balancing two fall sports. We appreciate her hard work, dedication, and positive mindset. She is a great asset to the team!
Way to go Carly!

Girls Tennis - Madisyn Miller
The tennis coaches would like to give a shout out to Madisyn Miller! She is undefeated as of 8/27/24 and hopes to remain undefeated all season. She has shown immense growth on the courts and shows up daily with a positive attitude and the will to improve!
Nice job Madisyn!

Girls Soccer - Addison Muhl
The girls' soccer team is off to a strong 2-1 start and finished runner-up in the Lady Lions Kickoff Tournament. Addison Muhl has been a strong leader for the team and a has played tremendously in goal. She had a shutout against Meadowbrook Christian and another strong performance against Wyalusing in the championship match. Addison was just named captain due to her being a positive voice and always raising team morale!
Keep it up Addison!

It is our privilege to announce the first Athlete of the Week, for the 2024 school year as Aidan Leonard, from the golf team! Aidan is only a sophomore but is making a big impact in his first year playing for the team. He currently has the 2nd best scoring average on the team and is a big reason that the team is undefeated in the MPAC so far this season. Coach Cloud said that "Aidan is always working to improve, whether it was over the summer or during the season itself. The team looks forward to having Aidan be a contributor for the next few years."
Congratulations Aidan!
