Congratulations to Montgomery High School’s 11th and 12th grade Honors, CP, and AP English teacher, Mrs. Jessica Carpenter, who has been selected to serve as a regional writing juror for the 2025-26 New York City Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. Adjudicators are tasked with reviewing works entered at the regional level by teens living in and around New York City with judging beginning in December.
Congratulations, Mrs. Carpenter, on this honor as you represent our school and community with pride and expertise.

Athletes Serving Athletes
Today, the Montgomery High School STRONG Student Leadership Team, along with The Seasons restaurant, held their first honorary breakfast of the year. Athlete members from the team showed up early this morning to cook for the girls’ and boys’ varsity soccer players. As the year progresses, all teams will be honored as well as other groups such as academic students of the month.
Special thanks to Culinary teacher, Mrs. Amanda Snyder, for supporting this year long project.

⚽️MID-PENN D4 ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM ANNOUNCED

I would like to congratulate our Mid-Penn D4 All-Conference Team members for the 2025 season. The Red Raiders had 3 players selected to represent the 13 member team (Conor Irwin GK- Camden Dalrymple MF - Dylan Sherman FW). The All-Conference Team is selected by the 6 league coaches and consists of 4 forwards/4 midfielders/4 defenders/1 goalkeeper annually. Cash Hill was also selected as an Honorable Mention for 2025. Great job young men!!!

ENVIRONMENTAL FIELD TRIP
On Thursday, October 23, students from Mr. Ulrich's Environmental Science and Ms. Green's AP Environmental Science classes travelled to Waterdale Institute for a day of hands-on learning at the Mosquito Valley environmental center. Students also toured the Williamsport Water Authority's water filtration plant.

TEEN DRIVING IMPACT PANEL
On Tuesday, a select group of high school students was invited to participate in a Teen Driving Impact Panel with the Department of Ed, Department of Transportation, AAA, insurance representative, and Penn Dot.

CPR CERTIFICATION
Yesterday, 65 Drivers Education students received their CPR certification. Thank you to the Clinton Township Volunteer Fire Company for giving your time to our students..

We hope to see you at a show! The students have been working hard while balancing school, sports, and other extra curricular commitments.
“The Play That Goes Wrong” is a full length comedic play that is sure to entertain.
YES - the show is on a Tuesday and Wednesday in order to support our teams throughout playoffs and our county band students. We hope you still make the effort to fit us into your fall schedule.
All tickets will be sold at the door starting at 6pm before each showing. $6 for adults and $3 for students and senior citizens (65).

National Academic Recognition
Congratulations to senior, Lily Burchell, who has been named as a recipient of the College Board National Recognition Program Award. Specifically earned were the National Top School Recognition and the National Rural and Small Town Recognition awards.
The College Board National Recognition Program identifies and celebrates high achieving students from diverse backgrounds, providing a tangible way to demonstrate academic excellence. When choosing honorees, the program considers overall GPA of B+ or higher, performance on AP exams and PSAT-related assessments. Congratulations, Lily!

FLAMING FOLIAGE FESTIVAL WEEKEND🍂 Good luck to Montgomery’s senior representative for this year’s Flaming Foliage festival, Emily Dieffenderfer. The festival is held in Renovo, PA annually with various events to celebrate the season and showcase representatives from surrounding schools. Senior, Raiden Felix, is Miss Montgomery’s escort for the weekend competition and celebration.
