Cheer - Emily Geiger
Emily is a fantastic leader both on the sidelines and at game day! As a captain, she leads the team through cheers, dances, stunts, and general spirit within the school. As a dual athlete both in cheer and soccer, she balances her schedule with ease and is a team player! We are grateful to have Emily as a captain this year.
Well done Emily!

Tennis - #1 Doubles Team of Ava Hartman and Madison Budman
Madison Budman and Ava Hartman deserve to be recognized for their perseverance and strength in tennis. They have worked really hard and stayed dedicated as partners and friends. They spent much time refining their skills and shaping each other into quarter-final-level athletes. This was Maddy’s last match for the season, and will be playing in the doubles districts match on October 19th.
Good luck ladies!

Girls Soccer - Rihanna Arredondo
Rihanna comes to practice and games every day with a positive attitude and a tremendous work ethic. She is always willing to be coached and applies instructions to her playing. Rihanna is a tremendous teammate and has made great contributions to our team and is a large part of our success this season.
Keep it up Rihanna!

Coach Sherman had this to say about Conor:
Conor's ability to keep the ball out of the net has been a major factor in our 8 win total so far this season. He recorded 2 important shutouts last week against South Williamsport and Sullivan County this week to jump the Red Raiders up to the #5 seed in PIAA District 4. The South victory was the first time beating them in the 10 matches since resurrecting the program in 2020. Conor is a leader on and off the field. His ability to change the point of attack with his punts is a huge asset to the team. He is also a student of the game by reviewing Hudl film in the off hours to study his opponents. Opposing coaches have commented on his natural athletic ability, never give up mentality and leadership in the face of adversity displayed from this extremely talented sophomore. Well done Conor... keep up the good work as we look ahead to the playoffs!
Congratulations Conor!

Cheer - Briella Walk
Briella Walk is an exceptional athlete! She balances her schedule with work, cheer, and marching band. This past week she was committed to helping the team develop our pep rally routine and Shoe Bon Fire performance. Above all else, Brie is a positive and encouraging team player who always wants the best for her teammates.
Great job Briella!

Golf - Olivia Walk
The golf coaches would like to recognize Olivia Walk for her commitment to the team and improved play over the last few years. During her last few matches, she not only qualified for match play, but also played well enough for her score to be counted for the Red Raiders. During her final conference match, she shot a 54 at Belles Springs which allowed her to play in the District IV qualifier last week at White Deer. Olivia shot a 115 and missed qualifying for the district tournament but she still had an outstanding season!
Great job Olivia!

Girls Soccer - Aleaha Grimm
The coaches would like to recognize Aleaha for not only her outstanding play, but also her positive voice on the team. She has been a positive leader in the midfield for the girls soccer team, and has used effective communication skills during the games. Aleah shined during the Sullivan County game as well, helping the team defeat Sullivan 7-6. She had multiple goals and assists , which helped the team get redemption on the Griffins after losing to them the first time around.
Way to go Aleaha!

Boys Soccer - Damaj Stewart Williams
Damaj was a late addition to the roster but has made an immediate impact for the Red Raiders. As a central defensive back, he is tasked with coordinating defensive coverage in our defensive third. This includes everything on the ground and in the air. Above the playing surface is where Damaj excels scoring his first two goals of the season off corner kick services in wins over Meadowbrook Christian and Williams Valley. He is a great leader on the field, motivating his teammates to be better and bringing out the best in them. Damaj is also one of the fastest players on the field every match and possesses the ability to go the entire 80 minutes when called upon.
Great work Damaj!!!
