Thanks to the generosity of the Lycoming County Commissioners Office, we are able to utilize funds from the Covid-19 County Relief Block grant to develop the Montgomery Virtual Academy.

The Virtual Academy was developed initially to provide students with a quality education in a remote learning environment during the pandemic.  However, the Academy is also Montgomery’s next step in our ongoing mission to provide our students with the knowledge and skills needed to become successful, productive members of society in an ever-changing global community.

Students in the Virtual Academy have the flexibility to learn anytime, anywhere.  Our Virtual Academy is open to students K-12 and provides a rigorous, standards-aligned curriculum that is similar to Montgomery’s in-person curriculum.

As a Virtual Academy student, you will earn a Montgomery diploma and be able to participate in school sports, extracurriculars, and school activities (like school dances) while maintaining the flexibility to personalize your learning experience.
