Raider Pride League

Be Respectful – Be Responsible – Be Safe – Be Kind & Caring

What is the Raider Pride League (RPL)?

-RPL is our Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) Program. All students are taught clear and defined behavioral expectations in all areas of the building. Our targeted locations are the classroom, bathroom, cafeteria, playground, office, hallway/stairwell, assemblies, nurse’s office, bus, and arrival/dismissal areas. Our program has a sports theme and every classroom in the building has their own team name.

What is Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) Program?

-PBIS is a proactive approach to improving school climate. It is an evidence based program that strives to help all students achieve academically, socially and emotionally. PBIS programs are nationally recognized by the U.S. Dept. of Education. Over 600 schools in Pennsylvania implement PBIS programs and Montgomery is proud to implement the Raider Pride League! How do our students get rewarded?

-The RPL has a schedule of daily, weekly, monthly, semesterly and yearly rewards. Students are given “pride tickets” daily for following our school rules. If they receive a pride ticket, half of the ticket goes home and the other half goes into their “classroom locker” for rewards/prizes. If you see your child come home with a pride ticket, congratulate them on a job well done!
