The planned instruction to be offered and the instructional and assessment practices to be used will support students and teachers in the attainment of academic goals, academic standards and the high school graduation requirements set forth in Chapter 4 under Section 4.24.  Curriculum will be aligned with standards, and all staff will participate in standards-based trainings in order to develop instructional practices related to standards-based instruction and assessment.  A component of the trainings will involve classroom assessment consisting of techniques to measure student proficiency in meeting performance standards.
