1.  The graduation requirements of the Montgomery Area School District are consistent with the requirements set forth in Chapter 4 under section 4.24.  Students will be required to pass twenty eight credits of academic study in the following areas:

 

Mathematics	4 Courses
Science	4 Courses
English	4 Courses
Social Studies	3 Courses
Health	1 Course
Physical Education	2 Courses
Driver Education	1 Course

 

    Graduation Project

 

    Career and Technical Education and/or Elective Area Courses to fulfill the 28 Credit Requirement

 

2.  Students will be required to complete a career planning project consistent with district guidelines.

 

3.  Students must demonstrate proficiency in meeting state standards as measured by the eleventh (11th) grade PSSA. 

Proficiency level will be determined by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
