The Montgomery Area High School curriculum is aligned to the PA Academic Standards developed by the PA department of Education.  Students are scheduled in a modified block model that allows for extended time in the core subjects including mathematics, English, and science.  Student schedules are highlighted by electives in either Tech Prep or the Arts.     To continually challenge students, Montgomery Area High School offers Advanced Placement courses in Calculus and English Literature.  Honors courses are also available in Mathematics, English, & Science.  For those students requiring additional remediation or acceleration,  support is available through special education services, English As a Secoond Language, and the Montgomery Area Plus Program (MAPP).  MAPP occurs at the end of the day for those students who would benefit from the extra assistance.
