Blue Health Solutions has developed a great walking program to increase your activity and create a focus on exercise as part of your wellness program.

 

The 6 week Walking Program:

Week 1 : Employees/spouses may sign-up for the program on the school’s wellness webpage and download the Walking Log or Activity Log.  Week 1 email:  Stretching.

 

Week 2 : If the Shoe Fits e-mail

 

Week 3 : Hydration e-mail

 

Week 4 : Target Heart Rate e-mail

 

Week 5 : Finding Time for Fitness e-mail

 

Week 6 : Maximize your Workout and Staying Motivated e-mail

 

End of Week 6: Congratulations on completion of walking program e-mail with link to survey (must be completed to receive credit for the program).

 

 ·         Each week you will receive a Walking Program email.

 ·         You may walk at work or at home; you may jog or run if you prefer and that is part of your routine.

 

At the conclusion of the program, a list of employees who completed the program survey will be sent to your Client Engagement Consultant.

The employees in your school district are its most valuable asset, and healthy employees serve as role models for students by making lifestyle choices that encourage good health and which can result in the following: increased energy; ability to manage stress, to focus and to be in a good mood.

We would like to establish a Wellness Team, composed of employees from each school in your district that will represent the wellness interests of all employees in the district

The team will meet at predetermined intervals (monthly, every 6 weeks, or every 2 months) with Blue Health Solutions consultant, Lynne Maietta, to discuss, plan and implement worksite wellness-related activities.  Planned wellness activities will be posted to the wellness webpage on the school district’s website to inform all employees of worksite wellness activities that are scheduled.  

The Wellness Team welcomes members from all school district departments.
